"Protect Our World - Climate Action Now"
Look out for our Climate Action Mural in Hoddle Street, just along from Collingwood Neighbourhood House.
We received a grant from City of Yarra to create this mural to raise awareness of the need for strong community action to address the climate emergency.
The mural design was created by John Lawry an experienced mural artist. The mural shows two kangaroos watching while a bushfire burns. Their anxious expressions call for help, complementing the words "PROTECT OUR WORLD CLIMATE ACTION NOW".
The property owner and Collingwood Neighbourhood House staff and participants have given great support to this project and we look forward to continued collaboration and local community engagement on Climate Action.
